STUDENT GUIDELINES

  • Attendance in theory and practical classes is a must a here university. Stipulation is that it should not be less than 75%.
  • Students are advised not to disturb the academic calendar and in specific the examination schedules both internal & university exams.
  • Fees must be paid in time and refund of paid fees is not allowed, in any circumstances.
  • Damage to institute property by a student will be charged to the student concerned, with him.
  • Home assignments given by the teachers must be attended to in time and submitted in due dates.
  • All students must carry their identity cards duly renewed in every academic year at all times.
  • Continuation of studentship in the institute will be subject to satisfactory academic progress and good behaviors inside and outside at the campus.
  • Institute authorities reserve the right to cancel the studentship under disciplinary and other appropriate grounds.

STUDENT DICIPLINE

  • Students shall maintain discipline and decorum both inside and outside the college and Hostel premises. They shall abide by the rules and regulation of the college and the University and shall not in any objectionable conduct such as breach of discipline, disobedience to instruction issued by the authorities, immoral conduct and disorderly behavior including ragging. They must extend courtesy and co-operation to all the employees of the college. If it is found that a student has committed any, offence, he/she will be called upon to explain his/her conduct and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory, the Chairman/Director of the college, being the disciplinary authority, may take disciplinary actions, such as imposition of fines, suspension and rustication from the college.
  • Ragging in any from inside on outside the college and Hostel premises is strictly prohibited. Ragging being a cognizable offence, any one indulging in ragging is liable to be punished appropriately including expulsion from the college and/or heavy fine and imprisonment as per the law of the land. The student and their parents/guardians will have to give an undertaking that the student is aware of the law and agrees to abide by the punishment metered out to his/her ward in case his/her ward is found guilty of ragging.
  • Consumption of alcohol/narcotics inside or outside the college and hostel premises is banned. Any student found under such influence shall be seriously punished.
  • Any of the following acts will be considered as an act of misconduct and will be seriously deal with:

  • Inviting outsiders to the college and hostels without the permission of the authorities.
  • Bringing antisocial elements to the college and hostel campus.
  • Unauthorized absence from the classes.
  • Mass absence from the classes.
  • Adoption of unfair means in any from.
  • Motirating students to boycott or postponement of classes, examination or tests.
  • Taking part/participating in agitation, which may consider in lawful by the authorities.
  • Stealing or multitasking library books and other properties of the college and hostel.
  • Misbehavior with fellow students and employees of the college.
  • Any other act, which may be viewed by the authorities as an act of indiscipline.
  • Will full participation in vandalism or damage to the college properties. In addition to exemplary punishment the entire loss will be recovered from the individual or groups in such cases.
  • All students are issued with identity cards, which should be in their possession while in the college or outside. The same should be produced before the authority whenever required.
